Naples, FL – Formerly of Rochester, New York, Vince was born in Central Islip, New York to Lawrence J. Wright and Constance J. Morse. As a young man, he was a proud Marine that served in Korea, then working for The Coca Cola Company, and eventually retiring from The Arc of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence J. Wright, Jr. He is survived by his four children, Eric (Dawn) Wright, Kimberly Bontrager, Denice Wright (Jeff Houston), Deborah (Jeff) McCabe, three grandchildren, Annessa Bontrager, Kaitlyn (George) Thrush, Brandy (Spencer) Mace, one great-grandchild, Jay Thrush, nieces, nephews, beloved in-laws, family and friends. Vince, often known as ‘Pops’ in his later years, was a real character who always had the time to bestow some of his infinite wisdom, talk horse racing and football, charm the ladies, or chat up a friend. Pops will be sorely missed, but easily remembered. Family will gather for a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00AM, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612. Celebration of Life will follow at Bill Gray’s Tap Room at the Port of Rochester at 12pm, 1000 North River Street, Rochester, NY 14612. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Wounded Warriors or Tunnels to Towers in his memory, as these organizations were dear to Vince.

We are thinking of you all during this difficult time. Thankful that we met our uncle and brought the two brothers together after so long.
